MEC – METRO Group EDI Center (WEB EDI). Web EDI makes access to the electronic data interchange (EDI) extremely easy and economical. Suppliers can use the Internet-based application to easily interchange electronic business documents such as orders, bills and dispatch advice notes with the METRO Group.
Retailing partners of the METRO Group can conveniently access MEC via the Metro Link supplier portal. All that suppliers need to interchange data via MEC is access to the Internet and a standard Web browser – no specific software is required.
